Schedule and Class Size

We operate on an A/B schedule, meeting Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students in grades K–2 attend on Mondays and Wednesdays, while students in grades 3–5 attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our summer session classes are kept small, with just 3–5 students, so each child gets personalized attention. Research shows that learning is far more effective in small groups, allowing students to build confidence, ask questions, and make real progress. Class sizes will grow thoughtfully as we transition into the full school year.

School Therapist

We have a licensed counselor available to see students during the school day on Mondays and Wednesdays. The counselor accepts insurance, making it easy for families to access support for their child’s social-emotional well-being!

Curriculum

We use Math IXL, along with a variety of supplemental math materials, to provide a rich, engaging, and hands-on math experience. For literacy, we follow The Science of Teaching Reading framework, which is rooted in research-based methods. This approach helps every child—especially those who learn differently—become a confident, capable reader by explicitly teaching phonics, fluency, comprehension, and language skills.

The “why” shapes the approach

A teacher’s or business’s “why” guides their decisions, priorities, and the way they connect with people. When their purpose is clear, it shapes how they teach, lead, or serve—focusing their actions on what truly matters rather than just what needs to be done.

Growth Apporach

I meet your children where they are, recognizing and embracing their unique strengths while supporting them as they work through their challenges. Together, we focus on growth and progress, building confidence and skills step by step. By starting from each child’s current level and understanding their individual needs, we empower them to strengthen their abilities, address areas for improvement, and move forward toward their next milestone with purpose and encouragement.

My Why

My “why” comes from my own experience as a student. I needed a teacher who truly understood how I learned—someone who could teach me without forcing me to fit into a system that wasn’t designed for learners like me. As a student with dyslexia and ADHD, trying to fit into that box took a toll on my confidence and made me question my abilities. It wasn’t until later in my college career that I finally felt “smart” again. That experience drives me to be the teacher I once needed—one who meets students where they are, believes in them, and helps them see their own potential.

“I believe every child can learn and grow when they are truly understood. My goal is to help students build confidence, reach new milestones, and realize how capable they really are.”
